Denby’s Venice design lidded sugar basin, the green version from the Renaissance collection designed by Gill Pemberton around about 1975.

The sugar basin stands approx. 5.50” high to the top of the finial. The actual height of the basin without the lid is 2.75”. The open top diameter is approx. 4.50”

From the goblet shaped bowl we have an elegant sugar basin which still had the durability for which Denby was renown.

The lid has a beautiful shaped finial in green below which are are circle of smaller circles referred to as rouletting. This has a white band below which matches up with the white band around the foot of the basin.
